Ultimate Ride gives you the change to experience the thrill of reaching high speeds within just a few seconds, by riding six super-speedy famous commercial bikes such as, the Kawasaki ZX10 Ninja. The gane released only for the Commodore Amiga and the Atari ST.

Review
Ultimate RideBefore you begin a race you have to choose a bike of your taste, from the following six: Kawasaki ZX10 Ninja, Honda VFR750R, CBR600 Hurricane, Suzuki GSXR1100R, Yamaha FZR400 and V-MAX!
After choosing a bike, you need to choose which tires you wish to kit your bike out with. Your choice of course, should depend on what the weather conditions like as well as the type of the road you're going to race on. The game offers several game tracks, while there is a track-editor available to the user to ride on!
The game is too difficult to play though, even when racing on the simplest track. If you go just a bit too far off the road, you crash every time onto side-way objects (rocks, trees etc). Well, you have only five accidents before bring removed from the race... More on that, the game lacks the controls of a simulator. But still, it offers good 3D visuals and sounds from the very start to the very end, which may not make a good game, but still, makes it interesting to load!

Graphics ar good, and as said above, the screens to choose your bike and the race course are probably much more appealing than the actual racing itself! Each track is in full 3D using several polygons and colorful (2D) bike-panel details.
Sound is fine, having a nice introductory tune, whilst each bike has its own unique sampled engine sound (much like the Test Drive series) though no other SFX during racing!
