A horizontal scrolling shoot 'em up computer game published by Hewson for the 8bits in 1987 and 16bits on 1988.
This horizontally-scrolling shoot 'em up features 16 levels and 450 screens of great action. You may find numerous of power-up tokens while destroying the enemies, which can be used to obtain better weapons including ground-attack lasers, speed ups and multiple bullets. Extra lives are on offer as well, which you'll certainly need, especially as you have to go back a long way when losing a life. This is a really tough game, that needs a lot of expertise to play with. Ok, the plot is not original - a spaceship up against hordes of aliens but it's been nicely put together with clear, finely detailed graphics and smooth, fast animation. A great shoot em up though that will keep you interest from the first second!.
The C64 version features very good graphics with smooth and fast sprite animation. Scrolling is smooth (smoother than the CPC and ZX) and backgrounds are detailed enough. The game here offers a very nice-to-listen intro tune and some pretty strong in-game sound effects (no music though during gameplay as in all versions).
