Review
Switchblade A cross between a shoot 'em up and a platform game (typically a platform-shooter) in which the level areas becomes visible as you progress. You control Hiro (the only survived Bladeknight) through six levels who must reassemble the 16 fragments of the shattered Fireblade. Only then can he take on Havoc and avenge his peoples death...There are several enemies on your way who must be taken out by using your feasts or kicks but also with fire-arms found later. As you progress, you can find bonus weapons and secret rooms.

The GX4000 and CPC+ version of the game offers really good graphics with detailed backgrounds (especially at the indoor areas) and smooth sprite animations although the sprites are really small! The sound is excellent too, featuring a pretty good intro theme and an interesting in-game music, but no sound effects.
