Burning SoldierSTORY / GAMEPLAY
An alien breed called "The Kaisertians" have invaded and destroyed Mars and now threaten to vanish the Earth. You are a gunner on duty inside a Strike Fighter (a combat spaceship) and you control its weapons. The enemies are numerous and dangerous so you'll have to blast them all before they destroy the whole planet. Apart from the alien ships, you will also have to shoot asteroids or other space debris to protect your spaceship from heavy damage. Your mission is quite tough so you gonna need sharp eyes and good shooting skills. The ship is cruising automatically so you don't need to pilot it. All you have to do is to take aim and unleash hell with your Vulcan Cannons!

GRAPHICS / SOUND
The whole action is presented through FMV (full motion video) sequences of good quality. The sound is awesome with pretty strong techno and rock music scores plus a wide variety of cinematic sound effects and voices. The visuals are impressive (most of them are pre-rendered) and the animation is as smooth as water. Burning Soldier is among the most impressive 3DO games that show the console's 32bit potential.
