Lomax, is an arcade platform game, developed in 1996 by Psygnosis for the Playstation and PC machines.

Review
Lomax This game is based on the famous Lemming series, developed by Psygnosis in early 90s and astonished the Amiga and ST owners. A mad magician, Evil Ed, has taken over the Lemming Land and put spells on the Lemmings turning them into demonic creatures. You are Lomax, a cute little Lemming that survived from the magic spells and must now fight off and save the rest of your fellows. As a Lemming, you already feature some extra powers, such as building a bridge. You have a magic helmet which helps you set the imprisoned Lemmings free. On the way, more foes show up to make your quest more difficult, but, apart from that you must be careful not to fall on gaps while jumping.

The game is presented in 2D and features fantastic graphics full of colors, cute sprites and smooth animation. The sound is great, with sound FX and music taken directly from the Lemmings series.
