Aggressor is a great side-scrolling action shooter developed in 1992 and published by Atomic Software exclusively for the Acorn Archimedes home computers.

Review
AggressorSTORY / GAMEPLAY
Aggressor seems to use some "touches" from the blockbuster 1979 Alien movie. Vicious powers from another world threaten to destroy your planet and kill everyone on sight so your main mission is, what else, to just shoot down everything that moves (or flies)! Buts the gameplay is quite tricky since the enemies attack from almost all directions and they move pretty fast to shoot.

GRAPHICS / SOUND
Aggressor features nice and colorful visuals. The sprites swarming the screen move smoothly and the action is pretty intense. Apart from its cool visuals, Aggressor's sound is equally great, filling up your stereo speakers with a variety of sampled sound effects like gunfire and explosions, though there is no in-game music.
