STORY / GAMEPLAY
Super Pool is a pool game so there's no story here. Most of the aspects of pool are here: you can spin, play trick shots and cannons and vary the power and angle of your cue! The game allows almost limitless ways of calculating up your shots with its nice 3D style that rotates the table. This is a great pool simulation without many frills. Note that pool simulators are out there since 1983 and they didn't seem to have any major advances apart from those developed in 3D environments. The rules are always the same, so grab your cue and play!
GRAPHICS / SOUND
The game has great pool details. The table is nicely designed while the balls are polished and all in 3D perspective. The gameplay pretty smooth as long as you have a fast ARM3 processor running at 25 MHz, otherwise, in lower speed ARM CPUs (like an A3000 running at 8MHz) you will encounter nontaxable framerate slowdowns when rotating the table which probably makes it hard to precisely play the game. The game's sound is typical, with a few sampled sound effects a referee voice and...silence!
