A pinball game that features a science fiction theme reminiscent of the film Aliens!
Review
STORY / GAMEPLAY The game's playfield consists of two main screens arranged vertically, with a pair of flippers at the bottom of each. The main idea is to to fight against the aliens with their pinball skills! Strange scenario eh? There are also several hidden/bonus rooms which mainly involve destroying all the aliens (or several waves of aliens) for bonus points. The game was also released on Sega Megadrive/Genesis (released by Technosoft), Virtual Console and the PlayStation Network. Note that the game was the first installment in the "Crush Pinball" series. It was followed by three sequels, Devil's Crush, Jaki Crush, and Alien Crush Returns.
GRAPHICS / SOUND The graphics on the PC Engine (or TurboGrafx-16 if you prefer...) as quite good, featuring nicely drawn fields taken from the Aliens movie, and having fast and fluid animation. The sound is good too, having in-game music scores and sci-fi sound FX.
