STORY / GAMEPLAY Set in a galactic prison located somewhere the deepest darkest reaches of space, Loaded is a game of survival. You control one of 6 demented prisoners (all with their own unique look, weapons and abilities) in search of freedom. You and the rest of the prisoners have all been framed for crimes they didn't commit and The man who condemned you to this hellish incarceration facility is Fat Ugly Boy. Fat Ugly Boy plans to hold entire planets for ransom with his new physics-defying weapon. Before that, however, he needs to prove to himself that he has what it takes to defeat anyone on his way so you are to be his lethal sparring partner in a game of death. The games hosts different enemy types throughout its 15 stages! You must break out from this dark and demonic prison and track down the entity who framed you to serve your time in this lawless world! You use various weapons and special moves, depending on the character you choose (all of them are deformed monsters actually). This game is for adults only since it features a high level of gore and violence. You can play alone or with a friend, in two-player mode, which is great fun! GRAPHICS / SOUND The game has dark but superb visuals and luminous lighting tricks, with particularly impressive explosions. The game is played with the camera perspective from above, much like the good old Alien Breed of the Amiga computers. Loaded has equally impressive sound, with excellent sound effects and a variety of techno-metal style music scores. | |
