Super Nintendo (SNES) was produced by Nintendo in 1990 and it was the best selling 16bits games consoles in games history. It was the counterpart of the Sega Megadrive console. It was released with 2 versions. Super Famicom Jap/US and the SNES for Europe. Though its CPU was quite slow (compared to the Megadrive), the SNES brought the new graphics mode 7, showing pseudo 3D while all other machines could feature 2D Dimensions. Several games were created in special editions to show machine's pure power of the time. Being able to depic up to 256 colors on-screen and having a 6 channel stereo sound, SNES was a strong entertainment machine for home users.
