 Anyone who had the pleasure of growing up in the late 80's and early 90's will undoubtedly hold a place in their heart for the oldschool video games. It was all about having some fun and you didn't need an expensive console or home computer to do so! RETROSHOWCASE.GR is a website created back in 2004 exclusively for retro gaming fans. The main idea behind our work was based on our affection towards the retro gaming scene and every retro gaming machine. We actually lived and watched the gaming evolution from 1986 till today, starting with an Atari-clone and an Amstrad CPC 464 and, up to now, we have collected a whole bunch of retro gaming 'stellars'.  We do not want get exhaustive so we just make brief reviews for every retro game we like with most of them containing our very own gameplay video. No walkthroughs or longplays this time. We just make a sample video for you to enjoy and motivate you to try it yourselves.We lived it on its core and we still keep retro gaming alive by also participating in major gaming events.The simple fact is that no matter how much technology seems to advance, retro gaming will always be interesting enough to spend a chunk of your time... | ||

An 8bit gaming miracle!  Among the best video-game consoles that offered high quality visuals and sound, PC-Engine's (Turbografx16 in America and Europe) featured a mixed 8-16bit based architecture developed from Hudson Soft and NEC.
